La prova di impatto è quello di determinare la capacità di un oggetto di resistere all'impatto ad alta velocità. Resistenza all'impatto è una delle proprietà più importanti per un prodotto progettista.Fondamentalmente, ci sono due tipi di tester per la prova della resistenza: tester di impatto dardo in caduta libera e tester dell’impatto con pendolo, conformando alle diverse normative internazionali.
